Short version. I collect your email address if you give it to me, I use it to send you the free papers and the newsletter, and I do not sell it or share it with anyone.
This site is run by 11+ Maths Model Answers, a sole trader business based in London, United Kingdom. I am the data controller for any personal information collected here. You can reach me at 11plusmathsmodelanswers@gmail.com.
I do not collect your payment details. I never see your card number.
If you subscribed, it is because you asked for the papers and the newsletter. The lawful basis is your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time by clicking unsubscribe at the bottom of any email.
If you bought something, I hold your details because they are necessary to perform the contract between us and because I have to keep sales records for tax purposes.
Three companies handle data on my behalf. I have chosen each of them and you can read their own privacy policies.
Some of these companies are based outside the UK, so your data may be processed overseas under the safeguards their own agreements provide. I do not sell your data, rent it, or hand it to anyone for marketing.
Subscriber emails stay on the list until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete them. Purchase records are kept for six years, because HMRC requires it.
This site sets no cookies of its own and does not track you. The Substack signup box is embedded from Substack and may set its own cookies, and their policy covers that.
Under UK data protection law you can ask me to show you what I hold, correct it, delete it, send it to you in a portable form, or stop using it. Email me and I will do it, normally within a few days and always within a month. It costs nothing.
If you think I have handled your information badly, please tell me first so I can fix it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
This site is written for parents. It is not aimed at children and I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
If this policy changes I will update the date at the top. If the change is significant I will say so in the newsletter.
This policy is written in plain English on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email me and ask, and I will explain it and probably rewrite the paragraph.
